Elinor Crescenzi
Board Member

Elinor Crescenzi is a community organizer dedicated to sustainability, social justice, and collective healing. Her work focuses on community-based ecological farming, food and housing access, environmental justice, composting, integrative nutrition education, and zero-waste advocacy—advancing resilient, community-driven systems.


She integrates trauma-informed practices, nonviolent communication, and healing-centered approaches to strengthen individuals, partnerships, and communities, with an emphasis on long-term capacity building and equity.


Elinor holds a Master’s degree in Positive Developmental Psychology and brings over 20 years of experience developing inclusive community spaces across schools, gardens, farms, churches, municipalities, and neighborhood networks.


She works in collaboration with local Indigenous and Native tribes throughout Southern California, supporting initiatives grounded in cultural respect, land stewardship, and community partnership.


Elinor serves as a volunteer Board Member of Sisters of the One Drum and is Co-Founder and Core Organizer of the Pomona-based nonprofit Integrative Development Initiative (IDI), where she helps steward programs focused on healthy food systems, community empowerment, and ecological restoration.
