Ana Maria Lugo is a wellness leader, mental health advocate, and multidisciplinary healing arts practitioner with deep Indigenous roots that inform her approach to healing, community, and cultural preservation. She serves as a Board Member of Sisters of the One Drum, where she supports the organization’s mission to preserve and uplift Indigenous traditions through the medicine of the drum.

Ana Maria is the CEO and Co-Founder of Raising Mami Alchemy, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands.

She brings a systems-informed, heart-centered approach to nonprofit governance, grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience. Drawing from her cultural background and training, her work centers on trauma-aware care, mindfulness, and sustainable wellness practices that support families, educators, and underserved communities—bridging mental health, Indigenous wisdom, and community resilience.
